What is the Quran?

The Quran is the Holy book of Allah, a revelation sent by the Almighty to guide mankind. It was spoken by Allah Himself and delivered through the Angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) in the Arabic language, filled with rich sounds and deep meanings. Each part of the Qur’an holds divine authority and was written on leaves and bones by the companions, while many chose to memorize it by heart, keeping it safe over time. The Exalted has taken the responsibility to be its guardian, as said in Surah-Alhijr, ensuring no creature can alter its truth. Our Courses are designed to help understand these sacred words, preserving their essence and meaning with the same care shown by those before us.

What is the Quran? Quran is Divine Book of Allah

The Quran is the last, divine book of Allah, revealed to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) over a period of 23 years in the Arab cities of Makkah and Madina, to provide guidance and salvation for all mankind until the Day of Judgment. It was recited and memorized verbatim, then meticulously complied and written in the form of a book with 114 chapters, called Surahs, each chapter carrying commands, messages, and importance that reveals the background of life’s journey in a pleasant way. The companions helped preserve it through both writing and transferring it into the hearts of the next generation, making the Quran a holy treasure. The Islamic Method of Purification reminds us that this book is not only to be read but understood, practiced, and lived.
