Looking for a Quran teacher Germany families can trust with their children? At Quran Pak Teacher, every teacher is a Hafiz or Hafiza who teaches one student at a time. Your child learns at home in Berlin, Hamburg, Köln or München through live 30 minute classes on Zoom, while you sit in the same room. Lessons are in English and Urdu, and female teachers are available for girls and women.
A recent projection by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) puts the number of Muslims in Germany at between 6.6 and 7 million people, or 8.0 to 8.5 percent of the population. The same research shows the largest group, 39.4 percent, are of Turkish origin, and 29.4 percent have roots in an Arabic speaking country in the Middle East or North Africa.
Large mosques such as the Merkez Mosque in Duisburg Marxloh and the Central Mosque in Köln Ehrenfeld are centers of community life. Mosque classes usually run in groups at set times, so a child shares one teacher with others. Online classes give your child all 30 minutes with one teacher. Many families use both: the Moschee for community, and online classes for daily reading practice.
Our teachers work from Islamic Quran Academy on Bhogiwal Road in Lahore, Pakistan. Every teacher is a Hafiz or Hafiza, which means they have memorized the whole Quran. Our senior teachers each have 10 years of experience teaching the Quran. They teach young children and adult beginners, and they explain every lesson in English or Urdu so students understand each correction.
Noorani Qaida is the first step for anyone who cannot yet read Arabic. Students learn the Arabic alphabet, the correct sound of each letter, and how letters change shape when they join. They then practice short vowels (harakat), sukoon, shaddah and tanween, and finish by reading short words. Children as young as 4 start here, and adults who never learned as children begin at the same point.
After Qaida, students read from the Quran itself. The teacher listens to every line and corrects mistakes as they happen. Students learn Makharij, the exact point in the mouth or throat where each letter is spoken, and Tajweed rules such as Noon Sakin, Meem Sakin, Madd and Qalqalah. Adults who already read but want to fix their pronunciation can join this course directly.
Hifz students memorize a small portion every day and revise what they learned before. Most start with the short surahs of Juz Amma, which are also the surahs most often recited in daily prayer. A student should read fluently with Tajweed before starting Hifz, so every word is memorized correctly from the first day. Families choose a pace that fits around school.
Tarjuma is the word for word translation of the Quran. Students learn what each Arabic word means in Urdu or English, so they understand what they recite in salah.
Tafseer goes beyond translation. The teacher explains the meaning, background and lessons of each passage, so students understand why a verse was revealed and how it applies to daily life.
This course helps children learn Urdu. It suits Pakistani families in Germany who want their children to stay connected to grandparents and the family language.
A 30 minute class fits easily after Grundschule or Gymnasium and before Hausaufgaben. Most students read fluently with Tajweed within 6 to 12 months, depending on how many classes they take each week and how much they practice. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, “The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it” (Sahih al Bukhari 5027).
Adults learn privately, with no group watching. Many return to the Quran after years away, and new Muslims begin from the very first letter with clear explanations in English.
The monthly fee is €30 for 20 one to one classes, which works out to €1.50 per class. The plan includes:

Teachers are available 24 hours a day, Monday to Friday, so you can book any time that suits your family, from an early morning slot before school to a late class after work. Classes do not run on Saturday or Sunday.
Germany is 3 hours behind Lahore in summer (CEST) and 4 hours behind in winter (CET). Here is how that works in practice:
Clocks in Germany go back on 25 October 2026 and forward on 28 March 2027. Because teachers are available 24 hours, your class stays at the same German time all year.
School holidays differ by Bundesland. In NRW, the Herbstferien run from 17 to 31 October 2026, and online classes can continue wherever your family is, as long as you have internet. During Ramadan, you can pick a class time that fits around iftar and taraweeh.
Every new student gets three free trial classes before paying anything. During the trial you can:
To book, send a WhatsApp message with the learner’s age, current reading level and a preferred time in German time.
You need a laptop, computer, tablet or smartphone with a stable internet connection. Classes take place live on Zoom with audio and video, so the teacher can hear every letter clearly. No books need to be bought before the trial.
Our teachers teach Hafs an Asim, the recitation heard in most Turkish, Syrian, Bosnian, Albanian, Afghan and Pakistani mosques in Germany. Families from Morocco or Algeria who recite Warsh should tell us at the free trial, so we can check whether we are the right fit.
Parents can watch every lesson from the same room, and children never travel alone for class. Every class is one to one, so no other students join your child’s lesson. Read our privacy policy to see how we handle your details.
Read what families in the UK, USA and Australia say about their classes on our students feedback page. You can also watch short teaching videos on our YouTube channel, Islamic Quran Academy Online, to see how our teachers work with young learners before you book.
