Our online Hifz classes help children and adults memorize the Quran, from the first Surah to the full Quran, in live one-on-one lessons on Zoom.
Memorizing the Quran holds a rank like no other act of worship. The Prophet ο·Ί said: “The best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 5027) A Hafiz, someone who has memorized the whole Quran, carries the words of Allah in their heart for life.
For centuries, Muslim families have raised children to memorize the Book of Allah. For adults, starting later in life is just as rewarding. It builds a personal bond with the Quran, verse by verse. And Allah has promised that the Quran is made easy to remember (Surah Al-Qamar 54:17). The wish to memorize is already a blessing. What it needs next is the right teacher and a steady routine.
Our Hifz course is a structured one-on-one program. It takes a student from their first memorized verse to completing the Quran. It also helps students who have memorized some Surahs to revise and perfect them.
Who our Hifz classes are for:
What you gain:
Not reading fluently yet? Start with our Quran reading with Tajweed course, so you never memorize a mistake. Complete beginners start with Noorani Qaida.
Hifz is not just repetition. It follows the same three-part method traditional Hifz schools have used for centuries, adapted for live one-on-one classes:
Revision matters most. The Prophet ο·Ί warned that the Quran slips from memory faster than a tied camel escapes (Sahih al-Bukhari 5033). That is why our classes protect revision time and never skip it.
How long does Hifz take? Memorizing the whole Quran usually takes several years. Juz Amma, the 30th part, can take a few months. The pace depends on age, classes per week and daily practice at home. Not sure when to start a child? Read our guide on the right age to start Hifz.
How much is memorized each day? There is no fixed amount. Your teacher sets it after hearing the student in the trial. As a rough guide, many young beginners start with 3 to 5 lines a day. Steady students build up to half a page, then a full page. A smaller lesson that stays memorized is worth more than a big lesson that is forgotten in a week.
Where most students start: many begin with Juz Amma, the 30th part, because its Surahs are short and are recited in daily Salah. Finishing it gives a student an early sense of success before longer Surahs.
How parents can help at home:
Behind every Hafiz is a teacher who guides, corrects and motivates, one verse at a time. Every teacher on our team is a Hafiz or Hafiza, recites with correct Tajweed, and has taught Hifz to both children and adults.
We match each student with a teacher suited to their age, pace and personality. If a teacher’s style is not working for a student, we arrange a better match. Our goal is not just to assign a tutor, but to make sure every student learns from someone who will still be checking their progress six months from now.
Many families prefer a female teacher for their daughters, and many women prefer one for themselves. Our female teachers hold the same standard and follow the same Sabaq, Sabqi and Manzil method as our male teachers. They teach both girls and adult women. Read more about our female Quran teachers.
Families join our Hifz classes from the USA, the UK, Canada, Europe, the Gulf and beyond, without leaving home. Each class is set in the family’s own time zone.
What keeps students going is the routine itself: the same teacher, classes that happen on time, and progress you can see each week. That is how a good intention becomes a completed Hifz.
The Hifz course costs $30 a month in the USA, Β£30 in the UK and β¬30 in Europe, with no hidden charges. Families in other countries can message us for their local price.
