At Quranpakteacher.com we teach families across Italy online. Every tutor is a Hafiz or Hafiza. Lessons run Monday to Friday for 30 minutes, with one student and one teacher. Fees start at €30 per month for 20 lessons. Your first lesson is free. Courses cover Noorani Qaida, Quran reading, Tajweed, Hifz, Tarjuma and Tafseer.

Why families here look for lessons at home

About 2.7 million Muslims live in Italy, close to 4.9 percent of the population. That figure comes from the ISMU Foundation, which uses ISTAT residence records up to 1 January 2025. The largest communities come from Morocco, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Albania. Lombardy alone holds close to 400,000 Muslim residents.

If you live near the Grande Moschea on Viale della Moschea in Parioli, or the Islamic centre on Viale Jenner in Milan, or the Moschea della Pace on Via Saluzzo in San Salvario, Turin, you can usually find a weekend class nearby.

Outside those areas it gets harder. A family in Prato, Brescia, Reggio Emilia or a small comune in the Veneto may drive 40 minutes each way. Then the child sits in a group of 20 and recites for four minutes. Online lessons remove the drive and give your child the full half hour.

Lessons that fit the Italian school day

The Ministero dell’Istruzione e del Merito sets the primary school week at 24, 27, 30 or 40 hours. Families on tempo pieno usually finish at 16:30. Shorter timetables often end at 13:30. Many schools still run six days, Monday to Saturday.

We book around that. Lessons are set in Italian time, CET in winter and CEST in summer. Most families pick a slot between 17:00 and 20:00. Saturday and Sunday times are open, which suits weekend hifz for children.

The calendario scolastico runs September to June, so the summer break is long. Several families use it for daily memorisation, then drop back to three lessons a week once school starts.

Who studies with us

Children aged 4 to 15. Your child may speak Italian at school, Urdu or Bengali at home, and some English. Our tutors teach in English and Urdu and adjust to the child. Lessons stay short so attention holds.

Adults starting from zero. Many people finished Qaida as children and never read fluently after that. There is nothing unusual about this. Lessons are private, so nobody else hears you read. Your tutor begins wherever you actually are.

Sisters who need a female tutor. Our Hafiza tutors teach women and girls. This is not something you have to ask for as a favour. Say so when you book and we arrange it.

New Muslims. If you have recently accepted Islam and want to read Arabic letters, learn Salah and start Noorani Qaida, we teach that from the beginning with no assumed knowledge.

What it costs

€30 per month covers 20 lessons. That is five lessons a week, 30 minutes each, one student with one teacher.

This sits below what most academies charge in Europe. The reason is simple. Our teachers live and work in Lahore, where running costs are far lower than in Italy. We pass that on rather than raising the price to match the market.

Meet your tutors

Our tutors are Hafiz and Hafiza qualified, with years of teaching experience between them. They speak Urdu, English and Arabic, so your child can learn in whichever language they’re most comfortable with. Each tutor specialises in different age groups and levels, from Qaida basics for young beginners to full Hifz programs for more advanced students.

We match your child with a tutor based on their age, current level and learning pace, so lessons always feel personal rather than one size fits all.

Courses we teach

Noorani Qaida.

The essential beginner primer for anyone starting their Quran journey. It teaches the Arabic letters, their individual sounds, and how they join together to form words, laying the foundation a student needs before they open the Quran itself. This stage is taught slowly and carefully, since a strong grasp of the basics here makes every later stage of learning much easier.

Quran reading.

Once the letters are secure, students move on to reading the text correctly and steadily, with close attention to makhraj, the exact point in the mouth and throat where each letter is formed. Our tutors correct pronunciation as it happens, so students build accurate habits from the start rather than learning mistakes that need to be undone later.

Tajweed.

The set of rules that govern correct, beautiful recitation of the Quran, covering things like elongation, nasal sounds, and the proper stopping and starting points within verses. This course is suitable both for children building good habits early and for adults who can already read the Quran but want to refine their accuracy and recite with more confidence.

Hifz.

Full memorisation of the Quran, structured around a set daily portion (sabaq) alongside regular, disciplined revision (dawr) of what has already been learned, so earlier portions stay firmly held in memory rather than fading over time. Our tutors track progress closely and adjust pace to suit each student’s ability and consistency.

Tarjuma.

Word by word translation and meaning, so that reciting the Quran becomes something you also understand, not just words repeated by memory. This helps build a deeper, more personal connection to what is being read.

Tafseer.

In depth study of the meaning, context and background of each Surah, exploring why verses were revealed and how they apply to daily life. This is ideal for students who want to move beyond recitation and translation into a fuller understanding of the Quran’s message.

You can sit in on any lesson. You can ask for the session to be recorded. Your child keeps the same tutor each week rather than meeting someone new. If the fit is wrong, tell us and we change the tutor with no argument and no fee.
