Quran Teacher Afghanistan

If your family left Kabul, Herat or Jalalabad and your children now grow up in Peshawar, Hamburg or London, finding a Quran Teacher Afghanistan families trust can feel hard. At Islamic Quran Academy, a Hafiz or Hafiza based in Lahore sits with one child at a time on a live video call. Classes are 30 minutes long, five days a week, and the first three are free.

Same Madhhab, Same Mushaf, Almost the Same Clock

Most Afghan families follow the Hanafi school and read the Quran in the riwaya of Hafs an Asim. Our tutors teach exactly that. Your child keeps the same recitation the family already uses at home.

The time gap is small too. Afghanistan runs on UTC+4:30 and Lahore on UTC+5, so a class at 5 pm in Kabul starts at 5:30 pm in Lahore. Neither country moves its clocks.

One honest point: our timetable covers Monday to Friday. Inside Afghanistan the working week is Saturday to Thursday, so a family there gets four shared school days, Monday to Thursday, while the Friday class falls on their day off. Families in Pakistan, Europe and North America keep a normal weekday routine.

Online Quran Teacher in Afghanistan and Across the Afghan Diaspora

UNHCR reported that about one million Afghans returned from Pakistan in 2025. Many of those children went to school in Pakistan and speak Urdu with ease. That is why our tutors teach in Urdu or English. We do not teach in Dari or Pashto, so please tell us at the start if your child only understands one of those.

Our students include:

  1. Afghan families still living in Pakistan, around Board Bazaar in Peshawar, in Quetta and in Karachi.
  2. Families who moved back to Afghanistan and want the same ustad their children had in Pakistan.
  3. Afghan communities in Europe and North America, from Hamburg to Fremont in California, known locally as Little Kabul.

Parents sometimes ask whether a Quran academy in Afghanistan can teach their children in Urdu. Ours is based in Lahore and every class is online, so families learn Quran online in Afghanistan, Pakistan or Germany with the same tutor. For many of these families, the nearest mosque class is far away or taught in a language the child does not use at home.

When the Internet Goes Down

In late September 2025, Human Rights Watch reported a nationwide internet blackout across Afghanistan that cut both fibre and mobile data. Online classes were cut off with it.

If a lesson is lost to a power cut or an outage, ask for a replacement class and we will arrange one. You do not lose the lesson you paid for. Keep your tutor’s contact saved on WhatsApp so you can reschedule as soon as you are back online.

What Your Child Can Study

Each course is taught live, with one tutor and one student.

  1. Noorani Qaida lessons build the base: letters, vowel marks and joining. This is where most children aged 4 to 7 begin.
  2. Nazra reading classes help anyone who wants to learn Quran with Tajweed in Afghanistan or abroad, one page at a time.
  3. Hifz memorisation suits children who already read well, with new lessons and daily revision.
  4. Tarjuma classes teach word by word meaning.
  5. Tafseer sessions explain the verses for teenagers and grown ups.
  6. Urdu reading and writing helps children who returned from Pakistan keep the language they learned there.

The same list works as online Quran classes for kids or as online Quran classes for adults; only the pace changes. Tarjuma and Tafseer also serve families looking for Islamic studies online in Afghanistan. Compare every plan on our course overview.

Lessons for Sisters and Daughters

Mothers and girls can learn from a Hafiza, so a female Quran teacher for Afghanistan and diaspora families is part of every plan at no extra charge. We ask that younger children study in a shared room with an adult close by. Rules on learning for girls inside Afghanistan have changed several times since 2021, so please follow the guidance that applies where you live.

Fees, Trial and Payment

One plan covers everyone: $30, Β£30 or €30 a month for 20 lessons of 30 minutes. Every plan uses one to one lessons only, with no group classes. Payment is sent by Western Union. You can read the full fee plan and our refund policy before you decide. Start with three free trial classes, and pay only if you stay.

When your child reaches the day of their khatm, you will want the right ustad beside them. If you are looking for a Quran Teacher Afghanistan families already know and trust, read what parents say on our testimonials page, then book your three free lessons.Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β Β
