Open a mushaf bought in Tripoli or Benghazi and you are most likely reading the Qalun an Nafi recitation. Our teachers teach Hafs an Asim, so we say this first. If your family reads Hafs, or you simply want a Hafiz who explains in Urdu or English, Quran Pak Teacher can give you a Quran Teacher Libya families can trust.
Quick facts: 30 minute one to one lessons, 20 a month, Monday to Friday, $30 in US dollars, three free trials, Hafs an Asim recitation, taught in Urdu and English by Hafiz and Hafiza teachers.
Libya’s state printed mushaf follows Qalun, one of the two riwayat of Imam Nafi of Madinah. Many Libyan children learn it in the local kuttab or zawiya, and should stay on that path. Switching a child to another riwaya halfway through Hifz only causes confusion.
Our lessons suit families with a Hafs mushaf at home, children at English medium schools, and adults starting from the alphabet in private.
Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs puts the Pakistani community in Libya at about 18,000 people, and 10,000 to 12,000 of them have lived there since the 1970s. The ministry keeps community coordinators in Benghazi, Misrata and Sebha. Many of these children were born in Libya, speak Arabic outside and Urdu at home, and read Hafs, the same riwaya their parents learned. A teacher who explains a rule in Urdu saves them weeks.
Libya follows the Maliki school, and many Libyans pray with their arms at their sides. Our teachers are Hanafi. They teach the Quran text and tajweed, and when a lesson touches salah or duas, they follow the practice of your family.
Every teacher on our staff has memorised the whole Quran. Any girl or woman can ask for a female Quran teacher, and a parent may sit in on any lesson. Teaching is in Urdu and English, as none of our teachers speaks Arabic as a first language.
Families booking online Quran classes Libya wide usually plan around school and work. Libya runs three hours behind Pakistan. Our teachers work shifts through the whole day, Monday to Friday, so a 07:00 lesson before school in Tripoli is 10:00 in Lahore, and a 19:00 lesson after Maghrib is 22:00. Weekend lessons are not offered.
These are one to one lessons, so the teacher hears only your child. Each lesson opens with revision, adds new lines with every error corrected on the spot, and ends with a page to practise.
We teach six courses: Noorani Qaida, Quran Reading with Tajweed, Hifz, Tarjuma, Tafseer and Learn Urdu. Our online Quran classes for kids start at age four, and our online Quran classes for adults follow the same order at the learner’s pace.
The Noorani Qaida course takes a student from single letters to joined words, then to harakat, tanween and shaddah, one page at a time.
After the Qaida, students read from the mushaf and learn Quran with tajweed Libya parents can hear improving week by week: makharij, ghunnah, qalqalah and the length of each madd. Join through the Quran reading course.
The Hifz course runs as Quran memorization classes Libya students attend five days a week. Each lesson has a new portion (sabaq), recent revision (sabqi) and older revision (manzil).
The Tarjuma course teaches the word by word meaning of each ayah in Urdu or English.
In the Tafseer course, the teacher explains why each surah was revealed and what it asks of the reader. With Tarjuma, it forms our Islamic studies online Libya track for teens and adults.
The Learn Urdu course teaches children of Pakistani families in Libya to read, write and speak the language of home.
We have no building in Tripoli or Misrata. If you want a Quran academy in Libya with a classroom, the masjid circles of the Old City, near the Gurgi Mosque, and the kuttab in your own district remain the natural choice.
The fee is fixed at $30 a month in US dollars. In August 2026 the Central Bank of Libya set branch cash withdrawals at 3,000 dinars in the west, east and centre, and 4,000 in the south. We accept Western Union, and our fee plan page lists every term.
Send the student’s age, city and the riwaya your family reads through our contact page. Your free trial classes are with the teacher you would keep.

Four years old, starting with the Qaida.
Along a Mediterranean coastline shaped by ancient empires and centuries of Islamic history, Libyan families continue to place the Quran at the centre of raising their children, and many are now doing so through one-to-one online classes that work around school hours and the realities of daily life.
