Quran Teacher Switzerland

Learning to read the Quran should not depend on how far you live from a mosque. Since 2020 Quranpakteacher.com have taught Muslim families by live video, one student with one teacher, at times that fit the Swiss week. Fees are quoted in Swiss francs. Your first lesson costs nothing, and you meet the teacher before you decide anything.

How the lessons work

Every lesson is live on Zoom or Google Meet. There are no group classes. The teacher shares the page on screen, listens to the student read aloud, and corrects the sound as it happens. Sessions last 30 or 40 minutes.

You keep the same teacher every week. That teacher remembers which letter your child paused on last Tuesday, and starts there.

Class times in Swiss time

Switzerland uses CET in winter and CEST in summer. Our teachers work from Pakistan, three or four hours ahead depending on the season. Bookable slots run from 07:00 to 21:00 Swiss time. Most families choose a slot between 16:00 and 20:00.

Fitting study into the Swiss school week

In the canton of Zurich, morning lessons run from about 08:20 to 11:55 and afternoon lessons from about 13:45 to 15:25, according to ETH Zurich. Across most cantons, Wednesday afternoon is free for primary pupils.

That free Wednesday afternoon is the calmest teaching slot in the whole week. A child is rested, homework is not waiting, and there is no rush before dinner. We hold Wednesday slots open longer than any other day.

Meet Your Quran Teachers

Every teacher on our staff is a qualified Quran tutor, either a Hafiz who has memorized the full Quran or a Qari trained in recitation, and several hold formal Ijazah in Hafs an Asim. All have taught non-native speakers for years, which matters more than it sounds correcting a child who has never heard Arabic spoken at home is a different skill from teaching one who has.

We employ both male and female tutors, so families can choose the teacher that best suits their preference. Before your trial, we ask the student’s age and current level, then match a teacher to that profile rather than assigning whoever is free. Once matched, that teacher stays with the student, and if the fit isn’t right after a few weeks, simply let us know and we’ll change it without any argument. Female Quran Teachers for Female Students

For sisters and girls who prefer a female teacher, we ensure classes are taught by women only, with no male staff present on the call. If a student feels more comfortable with her camera off, that’s completely fine too the focus stays on quality learning, not visibility.

Our female tutors are experienced in working with students across Switzerland, understanding both the religious and cultural sensitivities that matter to families here. This option gives parents confidence that their daughters are learning the Quran in a respectful, private, and supportive setting, guided by qualified women who genuinely care about their progress.

Which language will my child learn in?

Around 5.5 percent of Swiss residents aged 15 and over are Muslim, according to the Federal Statistical Office. Most families trace their roots to the Balkans and Turkey rather than South Asia. Research collected by the CNRS puts Balkan origin at 56.6 percent and Turkish origin at 20.2 percent.

So our Quran teaching in Switzerland is in English by default. A child schooled in German in Winterthur, in French in Lausanne or in Italian in Lugano is taught the Arabic letters through English. Urdu instruction is available for families who ask for it.

Courses

Noorani Qaida

Noorani Qaida is the starting point for every beginner, whether it’s a young child taking their first steps in learning or an adult reading Arabic for the very first time. In this course, students learn the Arabic alphabet, the correct pronunciation of each letter, and the basic rules of Tajweed.

It is the foundation on which everything else is built without it, reading the Quran correctly simply isn’t possible. Our female teachers go at a pace that suits each student, ensuring every letter and sound is fully understood before moving forward, in a patient and encouraging environment.

Quran Reading Course

Once a student can read Arabic, our online Quran Reading course helps them read the Quran fluently, confidently, and correctly, with proper Tajweed applied throughout. The focus is on accurate pronunciation, correct pauses, and smooth recitation not just getting through the words, but reading them the way they are meant to be read.

Mistakes are corrected as they happen, so students build good habits from the start rather than having to unlearn bad ones later. Guided by experienced female teachers, this course offers female students a supportive and encouraging space to strengthen their recitation skills at their own pace.

Quran Memorization (Hifz)

Our Hifz program is built on a structured, time-tested approach to help students memorize the Quran with confidence and accuracy. Each session is divided into three daily parts: Sabaq for learning new lines, Sabqi for revising the past week’s lessons, and Manzil for reinforcing older revisions.

This method ensures steady progress while keeping previously memorized portions strong and fresh in the student’s memory.

For children who cannot commit to weekdays, we also offer a Weekend Only Hifz option, making it easier for busy families to stay consistent without compromising on quality.

Classes are led by experienced female teachers, providing a nurturing and focused environment for female students on their memorization journey.

Quran Tarjuma Course

Understanding the meaning of the Quran is just as important as reciting it correctly. Our Tarjuma course focuses on word-by-word and verse-by-verse translation of the Holy Quran, helping students connect with the message and guidance within each ayah.

Whether you are a beginner or looking to deepen your understanding, this course is designed to make the Quran’s language accessible and meaningful in everyday life. Classes are conducted by experienced female teachers, ensuring a comfortable and supportive learning environment for female students of all ages.

Quran Tafseer Course

Our Tafseer course goes beyond translation to explore the deeper context, wisdom, and interpretation behind the verses of the Quran. Students learn about the reasons for revelation (Asbab al-Nuzul), historical background, linguistic nuances, and scholarly explanations that bring greater clarity and depth to their understanding of Allah’s words.

This course is ideal for students who wish to strengthen their connection with the Quran on an intellectual and spiritual level. Taught by qualified female instructors, the course offers a thoughtful, structured approach suitable for both beginners and more advanced learners.
