His Supreme Rank in the Court of Almighty Allah
In the court of Allah and the court of Almighty Allah, Rasoolullah, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, Sayyiduna Muhammad, Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, holds a distinct rank unmatched in all creation. He is Allah’s chosen messenger, the Noble Messenger, the Seal of the Prophets (Khatam an-Nabiyyin), and the final Messenger, through whom prophethood ended. This highest rank is affirmed by divine praise in the Holy Quran and the Glorious Quran, where his eminence, supremacy over all Prophets, and role as the bearer of the true religion are clearly declared.
Mercy to All Worlds (Rahmatul-lil-‘Alamin)
As the Prophet of Rahmah, mercy to all worlds (Rahmatul-lil-‘Alamin), his compassion reaches angels, jinn, humans, animals, and all creation. He is mercy for Muslims, believers, and even non-Muslims, as mercy includes wisdom, restraint, and guidance. This mercy flows across worlds, through Lordship, means, and divine guidance, benefiting everything besides Allah, from physical bodies to unseen realms.
Seal of Prophethood and Complete Guidance
As Khatam an-Nabiyyin, the last Messenger, Rasoolullah brought the ultimate revelation, the Quran, offering complete guidance until the end of time. Through him, Allah perfected religion, completed favor, and chose Islam as the final way. His mission includes commanding good, forbidding wrong, making lawful pure things, and lifting burdens from humanity.
Servanthood, Humility, and Obedience
Despite his unmatched honor, he remains Abd (servant) and Rasul (Messenger), embodying humility, submission, and obedience to God. Obeying the Messenger is inseparable from obeying Allah, and following his Sunnah leads to great success, salvation, and the straight path.
Sublime Character and Perfect Example
Allah describes his sublime character (Uswatul Hasanah) as a great moral character, making his life a shining example for humanity. His compassion, concern for wellbeing, mercy for believers, and patience with hardship establish him as the perfect example to follow in faith, conduct, and worship.
Light, Guidance, and Siraj Munir
He is Light, Noor, and Siraj Munir, a radiant lamp guiding hearts to the path to Allah. Through his speech, revelation, and wisdom, darkness is removed and faith is illuminated for the Ummah and all seekers of truth.
Intercession and Maqam Mahmoud
On the Day of Judgment, Rasoolullah will stand as the intercessor (Shafa’ah), granted Maqam Mahmoud, the station of closeness. His intercession benefits believers, sinful Muslims, and humanity according to Allah’s will, extending mercy in the Hereafter, at the Scale of Deeds, near the Fountain of Kauthar, and in Jannah.
Unique Privileges Granted by Allah
Among his unique privileges are angelic praise, blessings from the mother’s womb, the footsteps of Bilal heard in Paradise, prayers answered, and forgiveness granted to the faithful. His mercy spans history—from Hazrat Adam, Hazrat Nuh, Hazrat Ibrahim, and Hazrat Ismail, to the present and beyond.
Balance, Love, and Correct Understanding
Muslims express love, honor, respect, praise, Salawat, and Durood, while maintaining balance, limits, and correct understanding. We avoid attributing divine attributes, such as control of the unseen or the universe, to him, guarding against polytheism (shirk). All power is from Allah, and Rasoolullah remains Allah’s beloved creation, guiding with mercy and truth.
