Quran Teacher Ukraine

Families in Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv and Odesa can book a Quran Teacher in Ukraine through Quran Pak Teacher, with live one to one lessons taught from Lahore. Our tutors follow the Hanafi school and teach the Hafs recitation, in Urdu and English. This suits South Asian families, international students, and Ukrainian Muslims comfortable in English. It does not suit a child who speaks only Ukrainian, and we explain why further down.

The School of Law Most Muslims in Ukraine Follow

Crimean Tatars form the largest Muslim community in the country. Sunni Islam of the Hanafi school spread through Crimea under the Crimean Khanate, and Hanafi law was the school of the Ottoman Empire. Volga Tatars, Meskhetian Turks and Central Asian families settled here follow the same school.

Teachers trained in Cairo or Damascus often follow Shafi’i or Maliki rulings. Neither is wrong. They are a different fit. Our teachers trained in Lahore, where Hanafi fiqh is standard, so a Tatar or Turkic child hears the same rulings in class that their grandmother uses at home.

Online Quran Teacher in Ukraine During Power Cuts

Kyivstar, the country’s largest mobile operator, reported that around 30 percent of its network was without power for nine days running, spread fairly evenly across the country, with much of the equipment on batteries and generators for most of the day. Fibre can stay live for several hours after a building loses power if the household router has its own battery.

Conditions change. Kyiv had no scheduled outages as of September 2026, though the winter of 2025 to 2026 brought heavier strikes on energy sites. Residents check their own schedule through DTEK or the Kyiv Digital app.

Here is how we handle it:

• A lesson lost to an outage is rescheduled at no charge
• We switch to audio only when the connection weakens
• Class slots can be moved to sit outside a known outage window
• Trial lessons let you test your connection before paying anything

What We Do Not Teach

We teach in Urdu and English only. The main community languages here are Ukrainian, Crimean Tatar, Azerbaijani, Turkish, Uzbek and Arabic, with Russian widely spoken. A child with no English will struggle with us.

If your family can reach a local class, that is usually better. Kyiv has an Islamic cultural centre on Dehtyarivska Street running weekend Arabic teaching, and Ar Rahma Mosque holds regular gatherings. Similar centres operate in Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Vinnytsia and Sumy. Face to face correction of makharij is faster than anything a screen can do.

How We Keep Lessons Safe

Because so many classes here run at odd hours around outage schedules, we keep the record clear. Every lesson is recorded, and you receive the file whether you watched live or not. If the power failed at your end, the recording still arrives.

You do not need permission to join a class. Log in at any point, sit quietly or ask a question, and leave when you want. Teachers contact only the parent, never the student, and never outside the booked hour. Nobody asks a child for a photograph.

Our Courses

Six programmes. Each runs one to one for 30 minutes, five days a week, and can be moved to fit a known outage window.

Noorani Qaida

The starting point for a child who cannot yet read Arabic script. Letters first, then how each shape changes inside a word, then the vowel marks. Four to six months is normal when classes run steadily. See the Noorani Qaida course.

Quran Reading With Tajweed

Slavic language speakers usually flatten the throat letters, so ح and ه end up sounding alike and ق turns into a hard k. Teachers model each one slowly until the tongue settles. See the Quran reading page.

Full Quran Study and Memorisation

Quran Tarjuma

Female Teachers for Sisters and Daughters

Women teach our female students. Since the war began, many households are run by mothers alone while fathers serve or work abroad, and a female teacher who deals directly with the mother makes the arrangement simpler. Adult women correcting tajweed they learned by rote as girls are welcome on the same terms.

Paying From a Ukrainian Bank

From 11 August 2026 the National Bank of Ukraine raised the monthly cap on buying non cash foreign currency from 50,000 to 200,000 hryvnia. The bank described this as its largest easing package since the full scale invasion began, aimed mainly at households.

A monthly fee sits far below that ceiling. Students in Ukraine pay the Europe rate of 30 euro a month for 20 lessons. Three trial lessons are free. Full pricing is on our fee page.

Study That Follows You

Before 2014 the largest Muslim communities sat in Crimea, then Donetsk, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Dnipro, Kherson, Odesa and Zaporizhzhia. Many of those places are now occupied or under fire, and many families have moved once or twice.

A child who moves from Kharkiv to Lviv, or from Lviv to Warsaw, keeps the same teacher, the same slot and the same page of their sabaq. We adjust the clock, not the plan.
