Online Quran Classes for Children and Beginners in Israel

Ahlan wa sahlan and as salamu alaikum. If you are looking for a Quran Teacher Israel families can trust, you likely want a qualified Hafiz, lessons that fit around school and work, and a teacher who hears every word. We teach one to one over live video, so a child in Sakhnin, Tayibe or Rahat gets full attention for the whole class.

Who Learns With Us in Israel

Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics counted about 1.85 million Muslims at the end of 2025, around 18.6 percent of residents. It is a young community: in 2023, almost one in three Muslims was 14 or younger. Families live across the Galilee, in Triangle towns such as Umm al Fahm, Tira and Baqa al Gharbiyye, around Rahat in the Negev, and in mixed cities like Haifa, Acre, Jaffa, Lod and Ramla, home to historic mosques such as the Al Jazzar Mosque in Acre and the White Mosque in Nazareth.

Most of our students here are children learning to read, girls and women who want a female teacher, and adults meeting the Quran for the first time.

Starting From Zero as an Adult

Plenty of adults never learned to read Arabic script, or learned once and forgot. Some are exploring Islam for the first time. In a private class, nobody else is listening. Your teacher starts with the letters, moves at your pace, and answers questions you might not ask in a room full of people.

Course Path From Qaida to Hifz

  • Noorani Qaida: Where every beginner starts, whether a 4 year old or an adult who has never read Arabic script. You learn the letters, their sounds, and how they join, one small step per lesson.
  • Quran Reading with Tajweed: After the Qaida, you read from the Quran with your teacher listening line by line. Each rule is practiced until it sounds natural. Most students reach basic Tajweed reading in 6 to 12 months.
  • Hifz: For children and adults who want to memorize. Each day brings a new portion, plus revision of recent and older lessons, so nothing is forgotten. Many start with the short surahs used in daily salah.
  • Tarjuma: The meaning of each word explained in English, useful for adult beginners and anyone learning about Islam for the first time.
  • Tafseer: For older students who want to understand the message, context and lessons behind the verses they read.
  • Urdu: An optional extra for families who speak or want to learn Urdu.
